The Undoing
The Undoing is a boxed publication featuring Epson Stylus Pro 9900 inkjet prints on paper of each of the 26 paintings featured in Guyton’s exhibition at Matthew Marks Gallery, Los Angeles, last year. Produced in the artist’s studio in a limited edition of 440 copies, each copy is signed and numbered by the artist.
Guyton started the paintings in The Undoing during the lockdown in 2020. Images include news from the New York Times website, the artist taking his temperature, and photographs taken during Guyton’s exhibition at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, which closed just before the start of the pandemic.
