This catalogue of Kelly’s first exhibition of self-portrait drawings reproduces fifty-two works made over the course of nearly half a century. It begins with a drawing made when he was twenty-one years old and includes self-portraits drawn during his military service, his time as an art student in Boston, and his years as a young artist in Paris, as well as more recent self-portraits made during his travels.
