Terry Winters is a consummate printmaker and his work in this medium has been the subject of numerous exhibitions and publications. Like his paintings from the 1980s, this large-scale color lithograph features imagery derived from plant life as well as microscopic structures such as cells and chromosomes. The rough-hewn blue striations recall the layout of a ruled notebook.
