Stanley Whitney: You can’t love this, you can’t love that, you can’t love this person, you can’t marry that person because they’re this or that. I don’t believe in love laws. That’s it. Human beings just want to be loved. That’s a big thing: love, beauty. Even in my work, I try to put in a lot of love and beauty in the work.
